Need Birthday Gift Ideas
My little girl is going to a birthday party for twins who are turning 8. We have known these little girls since birth so I am wanting to give them a special gift. I always like to give them each their own considering the twin thing. If any of you guys have any ideas I would welcome each of them. I could go to Target and just pick up any old thing, but considering that they are wonderful family friends I just can't do this.

What about sleeping bags? Is that rediculous? I think this is a big sleepover age right? Maybe different ones- there are really cute ones now-

One of my favorite gifts when I was little was a Parties for Kids book- what about one for each with fun cookie cutters, mini cupcake pans-sprinkles ( Sur La Table has gorgeous ones)-
Little girls that age love parties and to decorate things.
Funny - our neighbor's children turned 8 last year - twins. I bought them each a pixel chix(Target)... put them in a gift bag and instead of tissue paper I used feather boas. The Pixel Chix were the hit of the party - definitely the coolest gift of the group! You can get the house and the mall so they can hook together and "talk."
I don't know what pixel chix are but they sound hot. I'm trying to remember what I liked when I was eight. I think I collected a lot of sticker books- which I imagine is totally out of style now. I'm thinking maybe something personalized, could you get two little bedroom mirrors with different designs and their name painted on them or something like that?
(Does it show I have little to no experience in this field?)
You could get a Tiffany's keepsake for each otf then to treaure althogh they may be a little expensive...also try redenvelope.com for kids
oops, I meant to post my idea here (sorry about that Big H) .... what about monogrammed totes/purses, maybe Vera Bradley?
